Payment Initiated
The payer selects an approved fee or service and proceeds through Brookfield's authorized payment interface.
These Terms govern use of the Brookfield Institute UAE website, applications, admissions communications, learner-facing digital services and online educational fee payments. They also explain how payment authorization, gateway verification, refunds, failed transactions, disputes and transaction records are handled.
By accessing the website, creating an account, submitting an enquiry or application, accepting an offer, making an online payment, or using a Brookfield student or partner interface, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and to any related policy specifically presented to you during the relevant process. If you are making a payment on behalf of another learner, you confirm that you are authorized to make that payment and understand that the payment remains subject to Brookfield's academic, admissions and finance records.
Payment status and academic status are separate. A successful card authorization does not by itself guarantee admission, scholarship approval, programme availability, completion or certification.
The payer selects an approved fee or service and proceeds through Brookfield's authorized payment interface.
The transaction may be authenticated, approved, declined or placed into a pending state by the payment provider or issuing bank.
Brookfield may verify the gateway reference, amount, payment purpose, settlement status and applicant or student account before final posting.
Once verified, the applicable fee is recorded against the relevant application, learner account or approved institutional service.
The Brookfield Institute UAE website is provided to communicate institute information, receive enquiries, support admissions, accept educational and administrative fee payments, and provide approved learner, faculty and partner services. Users must not misuse the website, interfere with payment or authentication systems, introduce malicious code, upload unlawful material, or attempt unauthorized access to protected systems.
Programme structure, delivery format, fees, scholarship opportunities, supporting document requirements and admissions decisions remain subject to institute review and applicable eligibility or regulatory requirements. Publication of a programme or acceptance of a payment does not independently guarantee admission, a place in a specific cohort, scholarship approval, completion or certification.
Applicants, students, payers and partner representatives are responsible for providing accurate personal, academic, billing and payment-related information. Brookfield may pause, reject or review an application, account or transaction where information is incomplete, inconsistent, misleading, duplicated or unsupported by required records.
By submitting a card or other electronic payment, the payer confirms that they are authorized to use the selected payment method and authorizes the transaction for the amount and purpose displayed at checkout. Payments must be made through Brookfield's approved payment channels.
A payment may pass through an approved payment gateway, acquiring bank, card network, wallet provider or issuing bank. A browser confirmation, authorization message or temporary “successful” response may still be subject to gateway verification, fraud screening, bank settlement, reconciliation or manual review before Brookfield finalizes the payment status in its records.
Where a gateway, bank or provider later reverses, rejects or fails to settle a transaction, Brookfield may correct the corresponding learner or application account after notifying the relevant party where appropriate.
The currency displayed at checkout is the currency in which Brookfield submits the transaction. If the payer's card or bank account is denominated in another currency, the issuing bank or payment provider may apply exchange rates, foreign transaction charges or other banking fees. Such charges are determined by the relevant financial institution and are outside Brookfield's control.
A transaction may be declined or remain pending for reasons including issuer authorization, authentication, network availability, transaction limits, fraud screening, insufficient funds or provider processing. If an amount appears debited but Brookfield shows the transaction as failed or pending, do not immediately repeat the payment without first checking the transaction status or contacting the institute.
Where the same fee is paid more than once, Brookfield may reconcile the duplicate payment and, where appropriate, arrange a refund or account adjustment after the transactions have been verified.
Eligibility for a refund is governed by Brookfield's published Refund Policy, Cancellation Policy, the type of fee paid, the stage of the admissions or academic process, and any applicable mandatory legal or payment-provider requirements.
Where a card or electronic payment refund is approved, Brookfield will normally return the amount through the original payment method or original payment source where technically and legally possible. The time for an approved refund to appear on the payer's account may depend on the payment gateway, acquiring bank, card network or issuing bank.
If a payer does not recognize a Brookfield-related transaction, believes the amount is incorrect, or considers a transaction unauthorized, the payer should contact Brookfield promptly so the transaction can be investigated. A card issuer or payment network may also provide independent dispute or chargeback rights subject to its own rules and deadlines.
During an active payment dispute, Brookfield may place the affected transaction or related finance record under review until the gateway, bank, card network or other relevant evidence confirms the outcome.
Brookfield and its authorized payment providers may apply transaction monitoring, authentication, fraud-prevention, sanctions or other compliance controls. A payment may be delayed, rejected, reversed or referred for manual review where a transaction appears unusual, inconsistent, high risk, duplicated or otherwise requires additional verification.
Brookfield may request reasonable evidence of payer identity, authorization or the relationship between the payer and learner before applying or refunding certain transactions.
Online payments may be processed through authorized third-party payment service providers. The availability of card types, authentication methods, wallets and other payment functions may therefore depend on the provider, issuing bank, country, device or transaction risk assessment.
Users must complete payment only on the official Brookfield website or an authorized payment page reached from Brookfield's official payment flow. Brookfield will never require a payer to disclose a PIN, one-time password or card security code to staff through informal communication.
A parent, sponsor, employer or other third party may pay an eligible fee on behalf of a learner where the payment method is lawfully authorized. Brookfield may request verification of the payer or the relationship to the learner where necessary. Any approved refund is normally routed back through the original payment source rather than paid to a different person or account.
Brookfield Institute UAE provides educational, administrative and digital services. Website payments do not involve the retail sale or shipment of physical consumer goods. Accordingly, no shipping, delivery or cash-on-delivery policy applies to admissions-related or educational fee transactions unless a separate service expressly states otherwise.
Website content, programme descriptions, branding, academic materials, policies, visual assets and downloadable documents remain the property of Brookfield Institute UAE or their lawful owners and may not be reproduced, republished or commercially reused without authorization.
Brookfield may update, maintain, suspend or replace parts of the website, admissions workflow, student portal or payment integration for security, compliance, maintenance, audit or service improvement. Payment availability may also depend on external payment networks and banking services.
Brookfield is not responsible for a transaction failure caused solely by an issuing bank, card network, telecommunications provider, payment processor or other external service outside Brookfield's reasonable control, but will assist with reasonable transaction investigation.
These Terms are read together with Brookfield's Refund Policy, Cancellation Policy, Privacy Policy, admissions terms and any programme-specific conditions communicated to the learner. Where a specific fee or transaction is governed by a more specific published policy, that policy should be read together with these Terms.
These Terms are interpreted in accordance with applicable laws and regulations of the United Arab Emirates and the competent authorities applicable to Brookfield's licensed activities, while preserving any mandatory rights available under applicable payment-network, banking or consumer-protection rules.
Contact Brookfield with the transaction reference, payer name, amount and applicant or learner reference. Do not send your full card number, PIN, OTP or security code.
